Now and again throughout my travels on the Internet I find a picture I find appealing or magnificent. Those times that I do I publish them on this site sort of hopeful that a bit of the skill it took to capture the image will rub off on me. Squirrel Photo

Natural photography can be quite a challenge as your subjects do not always cooperate. I really like this picture. I think the composition is interesting and the colors are so alive. Not sure how the photographer was able to get the squirrel to stay still and pose like that but I bet some nuts might have been involved. Hope you like it as well.

Snowstorm in Helsinki

Sometimes in my adventures on the Internet I discover a shot I find appealing or beautiful. Those times that I do I post them here on my blog mostly hopeful that some of the skill it took to capture the picture will find its way to me. Horses in a Snowstorm

Since the blizzard that everyone was panicking over turned out to be much ado about nothing, I thought a post showcasing a really cool Winter photo might be in order. Yesterday they sent kids home from school early, declared a snow emergency and were ticketing and towing cars left and right due to the city’s snow emergency parking ban. The we got mostly rain and a couple of inches of wet snow that is mostly gone now. Not that I like snow all that much, but it does make for some really good photo opportunities. I do like horses though so here you go:
